Bag of the day
Orange you pretty!
For all the lovers of orange.
The amount of waste in the making of my bags is so minimal that it fits in the palm of my little hand!
This one will certainly bring a smile to someone's face.

Bag of the day
Fact:
California's plastic bag ban qualified for the November 2016 ballot which would require grocers to charge at least 10 cents for each recycled paper bag or reusable given to customers.
Thanks to my friend Jan, this beauty got a new home today in California. This one is made from napkins. The inside is fully lined with the blue. A nice edition to Golden State shopping!

A new beginning
If you market shop in Hawaii, you had better bring your own shopping bags.
This practice will eventually be followed by the rest of the country one day and quite frankly, I hope soon.
I am all for green bags, except that the green bags sold at local stores are just plain ugly and washing them just ruins them.
I have an idea that I can't shake, in fact I am a bit obsessed with it.
I want grocery bags that are green, beautiful, strong and washable.
I created the Knap-saq. My bags are one of a kind and handcrafted from re-purposed linens. I search thrift stores for vintage and unique linens for each of my creations. Check my post for that great green grocery bag that will make your shopping experience a little brighter!
